With 120 spaces in our Car Park, most of which are unreserved, visitors should be able to find a space easily. At very busy times overflow arrangements may apply. The changing of shoes or clothing and the wearing of metal spikes in the Car Park are not allowed.
You should report to the Professional on arrival who will provide you with the code for the security system for that day which will allow you access to the locker rooms and Clubhouse.
Entry to the Men’s locker room is at the back of the Clubhouse, past the Professional's shop. Access to the Ladies locker room is from the Car Park near the entrance to the Pro’s Shop.
Bromborough Golf Club has no liability for lost possessions. Please lock your clubs and trolley in your car between rounds.
Visitors play will be from Yellow tees for Men and Red tees for Ladies unless directed otherwise.
Towels are provided for the use of players but should be placed in the bins provided for laundering after use.
You are requested to use the Dining Room for formal meals though bar snacks can be consumed in the Main Lounge. The Main Lounge is directly opposite the top of the stairs and the Dining Room is to the left.
The use of mobile phones is unrestricted on the ground floor of the Clubhouse, except for the Snooker Room, but they must be switched to silent and not used when players are on the 1st floor. Their use is banned on the Course except in the event of an emergency.
Unless other arrangements have been made with the Secretary, payments must be made on the day, before play to the Professional and/or the House Manager.
In common with all public places, smoking is not allowed anywhere on the premises. Ashtrays are provided outside the main entrance.
"Slow play" should be avoided and players are encouraged to play when ready provided it is safe to do so. If players are unable to score on a hole they are asked to pick up their ball and move on. Try to keep with the game in front of you rather than in front of the game behind you. Players must always let a faster moving game through and should aim to complete their round in 4 hours.
You are asked to give precedence to matches being played from the White Competition tees.
There is a public right of way that crosses the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 7th, 14th, 16 and 17th fairways and the practice ground and you are requested to respect the right of walkers to use it.
Apply safety values at all times. Do not play until you are sure that it is safe to do so. If in doubt, please wait.
CARE OF THE COURSE
Holes in Bunkers
Before leaving a bunker, a player should carefully fill up and smooth over all holes and footprints made by him, using the rake provided. In accordance with revised R&A guidelines players are asked to leave rakes outside of the bunkers after use, in a position where they are least likely to affect play.
Restore Divots, Repair Ball Marks and Damage by Spikes
Through the green, a player should ensure that any turf, cut or displaced by him is replaced at once and pressed down, and that any damage to the putting green made by the ball is carefully repaired. Damage to the putting green caused by golf shoe spikes should be repaired on completion of the hole.
Damage to Greens
Players should ensure that, when putting down bags, or the flagstick, no damage is done to the putting green, and that neither they nor their caddies damage the hole by standing close to it, in handling the flagstick or in removing the ball from the hole. The flagstick should be properly replaced in the hole before the players leave the putting green.
Damage through Practice Swings
In taking practice swings, players should avoid causing damage to the course, particularly the tees, by removing divots.

Special Notes for Societies and Groups
Please contact the Office (0151 334 2155) approximately 2 weeks before your booking to discuss numbers, confirm tee times and meal requirements. Final numbers for food may be confirmed 4 days before. Minor additions to this number can probably be catered for. Unfortunately any subsequent reduction in numbers must be paid for.
If groups include members of Bromborough Golf Club those members are excluded from paying a Green fee. All other members of the Society must pay the agreed Green Fee. Cards may be collected in advance from the Professional. Group organisers should allow 9 minutes between tee times.
For those playing only in the afternoon, but requiring lunch, we recommend pre-ordering. A limited lunchtime snack menu is usually available, for which orders may be placed at the time and must be paid for at the time.
